THANK YOU FOR YOUR INEREST IN VOLUNTEERING FOR FAIR HILL INTERNATIONAL SPRING FLING AND EVENTING FESTIVAL

Join us for April Recognized Horse Trials at beautiful Fair Hill State Park (NRMA) in Fair Hill, Maryland.

The weekend competition includes: CCI 1*,2*, & 3* -S, USEF/USEA Advanced, Intermediate, Preliminary, Modified and Training levels on Friday and Saturday. Starter horse Trials Novice, Beginner Novice, Introductory and Elementary on Sunday. All Friday and Saturday Divisions will compete at the Gallaher Road Venue. Sunday Divisions will do Dressage and Show Jumping at the Gallaher Road venue with Cross Country taking place in Sawmill Field.

On Saturday we will be hosting our "Spring Fling" Event which is a fun day for kid including this year an Easter egg hunt. This is open to the public free of cost.

We need our trusted and talented volunteers to cover three days!  This year we will have cross country run over both days with Friday cross country starting mid-day.

Volunteers receive T-shirts, lunch, snacks and refreshments, much appreciation, and the opportunity to see many Olympic and International riders "up close & personal"!  Volunteers who check in on this app can accumulate hours towards FHI schoolings and USEA leader boards.  


Event Prep April:

Decorating nine cross country courses, directed by our decorator Lisa Pragg, is expected to be Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, and Weds (April 11th-17th).  Come help and see the course up-close and personal.  It is fun and interesting to do!   Setup of dressage arenas, show jump stadiums on Tues. and Weds also.    Details to follow on those.  Please go ahead and signup and we will be in touch when we have more clarity on the schedule and weather.    Clean up on Monday morning April 21st


Locations for April:

Volunteer check-in and briefings will be at Gallaher Road Event Venue (Old October area) Secretaries Office will be in "Bodgie's Field (Old October stabling)

Stabling will be at Fair Grounds 

Lunches will be distributed at the briefings, so please BRING A LITTLE PERSONAL COOLER WITH YOU for the day.   As usual, bring appropriate clothes to layer, hat, chair, and maybe sun lotion!

All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, lunch and snacks. You will also be eligible for a free x-country schooling at any of our scheduled schooling events.
