Morven Park's Spring Horse Trials will be on March 27-28 this year. We are excited to welcome competitors back to the park this spring!

We will need help at Dressage, Cross Country, and Show Jump. Please consider volunteering for one or both days

Protecting the health and safety of our competitors and volunteers is of paramount importance to us. Everyone on the grounds will be expected to comply with local and USEA regulations put in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please be prepared to observe standard protocols such as wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.

Moven will provide all assigned volunteers with lunches, drinks, and snacks as well as a Morven Park Mansion pass and a choice of Schooling passes (see below). We also offer the chance to win wonderful prizes!

For all volunteers the organizers are offering:

CROSS COUNTRY SCHOOLING PASS when all courses (except Advanced) are open

OR a XC school on the Wimert Cross Country Course (Beginner Novice and Novice)

OR a free ring school including indoor arenas.

For schooling or ring use, you must call ahead and schedule your time and date with the Morven Park Office at 703-777-2890.

Tentative Open Cross Country Schooling Day - Tuesday after the event (all competition courses open)

Items to remember for cross country judges:

Please NO dogs on the cross country course.

Jump judges must be 16 years of age. XC volunteers under age 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Lunches will be provided to assigned volunteers only.

Please bring a chair, suitable clothing, and a stop watch or a cell phone with a stopwatch app. (Don't forget to charge your phone!)

This time of year it maybe a little brisk or damp out; please be prepared to handle a variety of weather conditions. The event will go rain or shine.

Vehicles are allowed on course. (Four wheel drive is recommended.)

We appreciate your work as a volunteer! Without informed volunteers we cannot offer the quality event that everyone has come to expect at Morven Park.

PLEASE NOTIFY US OF ANY CHANGE IN YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION. Most communication will be through this portal.
