The MORVEN PARK FALL INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS are on October 4, 5, and 6 this year!

This will be a HUGE event as it combines the regular fall HT with the Area II Championships and the CIC 2,3,&4* competition.

Please consider joining us for one, two, or all three days days as a volunteer. We need volunteers at both dressage and cross country.

We appreciate your work as a volunteer! Without informed volunteers we cannot offer the quality event that everyone has come to expect at Morven Park.

Moven will provide all assigned volunteers with lunches, drinks, and snacks as well as a choice of pass (see below). We also offer the chance to win wonderful prizes!

For all volunteers the organizers are offering:

CROSS COUNTRY SCHOOLING PASS when all courses (except Advanced) are open

OR a XC school on the Wimert Cross Country Course (Beginner Novice and Novice)

OR a free ring school including indoor arenas.

OR a pass for the Morven Park Mansion

For schooling or ring use, you must call ahead and schedule your time and date with the Morven Park Office at 703-777-2890.

Tentative Open Cross Country Schooling Day - Tuesday after the event (all competition courses open)

Items to remember for cross country judges:

Please NO dogs on the cross country course. The organizers ask that you please leave your furry friends at home.

For scheduling purposes we do need all names ahead of time. Please sign up through the eventingvolunteers.com portal. (Contact Amy Geyer if you need assistance.)

As necessary, we may assign multiple judges to certain fences. Please don't ask to move to a different jump or to have others assigned with you to move.  There is a method to our madness!!

Jump judges must be 16 years of age. Younger children wanting to volunteer need to be accompanied by an adult.

Lunches will be provided to assigned volunteers only (max of 2 jump judges at each cross country jump). All other friends, relatives, and children are welcome, but they will need to bring their own snacks, drinks, and lunches.

Please bring a chair, suitable clothing, and a stop watch or a cell phone with a stopwatch app. (Don't forget to charge your phone!)

This time of year it maybe a little brisk or damp out; please be prepared to handle a variety of weather conditions. The event will go rain or shine.

Vehicles are allowed on course. (Four wheel drive is recommended.)

Additional information and briefing times will be sent out the the week prior to the event. Please continue to check this page for any updates to the schedule.

We will continue to try to handle most of our horse trial communication through this website.

PLEASE NOTIFY US OF ANY CHANGE IN YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION!

We are always glad to add new friends to our volunteer list, so keep those names and email addresses coming!

Please don't hesitate to email questions to Amy Geyer at this siteor call or text Amy Geyer at 703-864-5977.
